Michael Walsh is the Co-Founder of Cariloop and serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Board Chair.
Since inception in 2012, Michael has raised $44 million in venture financing to create the ‘Caregiver Support’ category, build a high-performing team of executive and senior leaders, and establish Cariloop as a visionary pioneer and leader within the health and well-being industry. Michael championed Cariloop’s conversion to a Public Benefit Corporation and the achievement of its B Corp certification, committing the company and its stakeholders to being a force for good in the world and using its products, services, and experiences to create a material positive impact on society. Under Michael’s leadership, Cariloop has been recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine (Entrepreneur 360 in 2017-2019), D CEO Magazine (Excellence in Healthcare in 2017 and 2018), INC Magazine (INC 5000 in 2022 and 2023), Dallas Innovates (Future 50 in 2023), Deloitte Technology Fast 500 (2023) and has been named to the Dallas 100 list of fastest growing companies in both 2022 and 2023.
Michael holds a BS in Industrial Management from Purdue University and lives in Plano, Texas with his wife Melanie and 2 dogs, Reese and Bailey. Before the founding of Cariloop, Michael started his career at Protiviti, working with large manufacturers and health systems focusing on risk consulting, internal audit, and operational effectiveness. Michael has also served as the President of the Dallas Roundtable, mentors startups and entrepreneurs at Health Wildcatters (where Cariloop graduated from in 2013), has been an active member of Conscious Capitalism both locally and nationally, and volunteers on the weekends at Children’s Health Dallas as a patient pal.
