Michael Walsh

Chief Executive Officer


Michael Walsh is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cariloop. Michael began his career in the risk consulting industry at Protiviti, where he got to see up close the drastic opportunities for improvement that existed within our nation’s healthcare system. After a first-hand experience with caregiving in his early 20s, Michael teamed up with one of his childhood best friends, Steven Theesfeld, to start a company dedicated to supporting caregivers globally and creating a positive impact on society. Since its inception, Michael has helped Cariloop to build an incredibly talented, passionate, and diverse team of professionals and investors who are working together daily to provide support to families all over the world.

Michael is a mentor for the Health Wildcatters accelerator program and regularly volunteers as a Patient Pal for Children’s Health Dallas. He has also served as the President of the Dallas Roundtable and founded the Dallas chapter of Health 2.0. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Purdue University and holds a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certification in Personal Training (CPT). He lives in Plano, Texas with his wife Melanie and two dogs, Reese and Bailey.
