Cal Wheaton

Cal Wheaton joined Cariloop’s Board of Directors in March 2024, representing Cariloop’s investor and growth equity firm, ABS Capital, where he is a Partner. Cal joined ABS Capital’s investment team in 2003 and focuses on investments in healthcare, healthcare technology, and human capital management. Prior to joining ABS, Cal worked with growth companies as a vice president in Alex. Brown & Sons’ and Deutsche Bank’s Health Care Investment Banking Group where he was responsible for leading equity, debt, and M&A transactions. Before his time at Deutsche Bank and Alex. Brown & Sons, Cal worked at the investment firm of Kidder, Peabody & Co. in Municipal Finance. Cal received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Mathematics, and Administrative Science from Colby College and his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
