Carly Duvall Le Riche has been named as the first general counsel and head of legal for Dallas-based Cariloop, the leading comprehensive caregiver support platform.
CEO Michael Walsh welcomed Carly Gerstman to the executive team, emphasizing her role “during this next phase of our growth strategy.”
Le Riche’s passion for helping high-growth companies, the way she approaches legal matters in a collaborative way and her willingness to explore what is possible as we continue to test and innovate is exactly what we are looking for,” he said in a statement.
The company’s new head of legal will provide guidance and support to accelerate growth, impact, and performance for Cariloop, the company said. Le Riche will also oversee Cariloop’s ongoing compliance efforts, support intellectual property, employee relations, contracting efforts, and manage investor relations alongside the executive team.
Before Cariloop, Le Riche was the assistant general counsel for TreviPay and of counsel at Spencer Fane.
Le Riche has worked with a wide range of startups and emerging growth companies on regulatory and licensing compliance issues, contract interpretation, employment matters, and growth strategies. She has also held roles at Dentons US LLP and Lathrop GPM and clerked for Senior Judge Nanette K. Laughrey in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Le Riche’s personal experience aligns with the organization’s mission and values, calling it a “dream come true.”
“As a working parent, I know firsthand the needs of caregivers. Supporting my blended family presents unique challenges as our children navigate elementary school, high school and young adulthood,” Le Riche said.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to join this amazing team and work alongside an incredible group of people who care deeply about the work we do for caregivers and their families every day.”
Cariloop said it helps families manage their loved ones’ care needs by connecting them to an employer-sponsored, digitally-powered caregiver support platform.
