Cariloop Wins Tech.Co Pitch Competition with Chance to be Named 2016 Startup of the Year

The Cariloop Team | August 16, 2016

Cariloop won the Dallas New Tech pitch competition powered by Tech.Co on August 2.

Seven companies presented at the pitch competition to a panel of judges comprised of leaders in the Dallas startup community. Each company was given 5 minutes to present and 5 minutes for Q&A.

“Tech.Co has been touring the world hosting regional startup competitions and conducting online startup competitions to find the world’s most innovative early stage companies,” Tech.Co’s website states.

As the winner of a regional pitch competition, Cariloop advances to the national semifinals that will take place at the Innovate! and Celebrate Conference in San Jose, Calif., Sept. 20-22. At the conference, Cariloop will represent Dallas startups and will compete against 49 other companies for the chance to be named Tech.Co’s 2016 Startup of the Year.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to represent the Dallas business community and share Cariloop’s story with so many of our country’s innovators,” Cariloop CEO, Michael Walsh, said.

Cariloop’s victory in the Tech.Co pitch competition follows the company’s recent success in the Aging2.0 Global Startup Search Competition. Both competitions have led to Cariloop’s representation at national aging and tech related conferences.

“Cariloop’s recent success in pitch competitions reflects the excellent work that our team has been doing,” Walsh said. “I am very proud of all of our progress and look forward to the opportunities that our hard work is producing.”
